Rob is a highly experienced and internationally recognised Chartered Physiotherapist. He has a honours physiotherapy degree from University College Dublin where he was awarded a first class honors for his research on stretching in sport. He is a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists, Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists and Irish Institute of Sport.
Rob has over a decade of working the public health service, private practice and elite sport. He has vast experience in the treatment of pain and injury and completed numerous post graduate speciality training programs including Orthopaedic Manual Therapy, Occupational Low Back Pain, Advanced Orthotic Prescription, Advanced Spinal Treatment, Acupuncture and Dry Needling, Sports massage and Sports Physiotherapy. He is also a Certified Stott Pilates instructor.
He has worked with with every level of activity from the sedentary individual right through to highest levels in the world of sport; from Dublin Senior Hurling & Camogie to Irish International Boxing and Rio Olympic Games. He is an advocate for health in the public and regularly speaks on health promotion and how to maintain a healthy body.
Rob is a keen sportsman. He has competed in numerous marathons and distance swimming events. He also has a strong background in team sports and martial arts so he understands what it takes get you back on track.
